Natalee Nixon, the sole proprietor of RSVPea catering, has been a chef and caterer for over 20 years. Her passion for entertaining with food started at very early age. She grew up in a bakery where her Father was a pastry chef from Belgium who introduced her to culinary art. She is a graduate of the California College of the Arts in San Francisco. She was personally selected by President Elect Clinton to cater his Inauguration at the Capitol Hotel and Camelot Hotel in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Natalee moved to Louisiana to expand on her Cajun cuisine and studied under the famous Chef Paul Prudhomme for two years. In the South Bay area she expanded her knowledge of vegan and vegetarian cuisine under the renowned chef Francois Galipieu at the Naked Garden Restaurant.

Being a native of Southern California Natalee’s heart’s desire was to bring back her experience and culinary expertise back home. To get reacquainted to Southern California, she took the position of Catering Coordinator and Production Manager for Bristol Farms in Manhattan Beach for 5 years. She also worked for the MTV Networks Café in Santa Monica before branching out on her own.
